72 children from 33 schools represented Liverpool in the British Athletics' Cross Challenge last Saturday. Both the boys' and girls' teams ran off with the gold medals. A fantastic morning with incredible support from teachers and families.
The Liverpool Primary Schools' Cross Country League resumes tomorrow in Sefton Park (near St Hilda's). First race 4.10pm. See you there.

I have just spent an hour walking the course and parts of Wavertree are under water. Whilst we could have redirected the course, the forecast is for 90/95% chance of rain between 3 and 5

Merseyside Primary Schools are now National Cross Country Champions in the Year 5 Girls, Year 5 Boys and Year 6 Girls. Year 6 Boys were bronze medallists. In addition, Year 7 Boys retained the National title they won in Year 6 with the Year 7 Girls silver medallists.
