Loved Ben at Chelt Town. Proper leader and good one of life's good guys. This is terrible news. Can imagine how our loved ones suffering makes us feel helpless. Stay strong

Primary school leaders/ English teachers - How do you teach drama in primary? Is it a monthly afternoon? We want to kickstart something formal, above and beyond extra-curric clubs. Ideas/ Experiences welcome

Does this change the way we address this issue in educational settings? This is in addition to the reports by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch confirming apartheid, and admission from the UN that its policies are in contravention of international law

Mr Deputy Head (@primarydeputyh) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Don't be a puppet. As educators, it's so important we only expose our students to the FACTS about what is happening around the world. Those established by the UN + Human Rights organizations, not those manipulated and peddled by others. We should be wherever the truth is, period

Does anybody have a school cat? Tell me about it please! I really want one, but some staff are uncomfortable. How do you manage that?

I've been asked to offer some guidance (not qualified!) on the durag, the cap that many people of colour wear, usually to protect their hair, but also out of cultural significance. Do you have experience of it being part of a school's uniform policy? Has your school banned them?

The Sarfaraz Khan delayed debut story for India is just beautiful. Never give up. We don't know when our day will come. The only thing that tops it are the images of him sharing his special moment with his dad - parents come first, especially in good times.

We've been reading 'A Squash and a Squeeze' to our little one, a story of gratitude. Then we read it in the context of the illegal occupation of Palestine. Brutal conditions are worsened, then made impossible. They'll expect gratitude when conditions return to being 'just' brutal

Since the Michaela ruling, at least one thing is clear. We apparently do care about pupil well-being, just not that of Muslim children for whom private faith rituals play a pivotal role for their positive mental health. Got it Can't wait to deal with the repercussions of this

All the places I’ve prayed: At school At work In restaurants In parks In service stations In car parks In airports On planes On a boat On a coach On a train On a mountain Above a waterfall In a hospital In a theme park And guess what, i'd do it all again. Where have you prayed?

I don't LIKE this post, I hate it. Imagine the same numbers were killed in Israel or the West. The West and its allies have lost any right to speak about human rights abuses, war crimes, etc. Don't ever lecture us on human value again. The kids aren't yours, so you don't care.

I'm reposting this for anyone on my timeline who still supports the actions of the Israeli army. If you are a follower, please unfollow. There are hundreds of incidents of violence like this, from Gaza, to Jerusalem and the West Bank. And we pretend it's 'self-defence'

These guys, absolutely class. As good as the discipline shown by the team. So proud. And I was sat with the City fans. Happy days

And I genuinely think it's one of the reasons so many English fans have a deep-rooted hatred for Wenger's Arsenal. He normalised the exception and some obviously didn't like it

Aha. There we are. The real reason for killing women and children and destroying all civilian infrastructure. If only people had paid attention to what the devil was telling the world with his own words in the UN - Israel is here to take over. What they've stolen isn't enough
