My horror of audience participation is intact, but I also really enjoyed telling Gemma Whelan-as-Charlotte Brontë Northern Stage today that my favourite Brontë novel is (of course) The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

If anyone else needs a solo dining recommendation in Newcastle: French Quarter is so perfect I wanted to put it in my pocket and take it home with me.
