#SoilTip: Since compaction is such an issue in our #soil, minimize foot or equipment traffic. Avoid driving heavy machinery or vehicles over your lawn & especially at the base of trees in order to keep air spaces intact and don't pile construction debris at the base of trees.

#TreeTip: Though it might seem that large established trees can fend for themselves, all urban trees need care & attention. It can be hard for trees to take up enough water when soils are compacted or lack organic matter; or sustain during times of heat and drought.
