The Miracle of Amanirenas by @HatimAlTai2 is here! This is the 3rd of 4 books in our Read, Write, Count in Nubian | ⲅⲉⲣⲓ, ⲫⲁ̄ⲓ̈, ⲟ̄ⲙⲓⲣ campaign which we launched to publish children's books written in the Nubian language.

So excited to share this special double issue of ArabLit Quarterly, our wide-ranging FOLK issue ed. Ali Al-Jamri, coming in eight days. This beautiful piece on children's folk songs from Makkah is by Eman Quotah, with collecting assistance from Mohammed M.N. Quotah.

Last night my wife theolalabib became the first Sudanese woman to perform at The O2 arena in London. Black. Muslim. Hijabi. Sudanese. Woman.. she's kicking down so many doors! I am one proud husband!
