Okay I’ll say it… I was impressed with how he spoke, particularly about that we shouldn’t just expect to win because we are Rangers and instead have to work for it. That being said, we say it every time so results will tell everything.

My favourite manager currently is Flick, and with Rohl’s experience under him I’m hoping some key aspects of that will be on show at Rohl’s Rangers. That, and the fact he’s a graduate of the Red Bull Ball, makes me (very) quietly excited.

I remember all the fans happy to “finally get a real tactician”… Frank is nothing more than an underdog specialist. Real example of the Peter Principle.

Tav and Butland trying to drag this team to a win. Tavs positioning might have been at fault for the first goal but if he didn’t have to do the job of 4 other players -by carrying the ball, playing the ball and filling in for others- then that wouldn’t happen.

On the bright side, Celtic fans can’t use that fucking Rangers circle meme anymore because we (still) don’t have a new manager bounce to continue it.

This is a very EPL club mindset. They over value physical profiles because athleticism suits the Prem & technical ability can be developed later. It’s why Jefte was linked with Chelsea. But that does not apply to the SPFL. Our league’s player value also makes profit impossible.

Moore through the middle or inverting into the middle works.. almost like I’ve been saying it from the start. He’s always been a playmaker, rather than a winger.

Thomas Frank is not the man for Tottenham. Too much min/maxing of everything. These wasted short set pieces are just an example.
