IChemE's kind award has prompted me to revisit Ep 5 of the Pre-Site Safety Podcast. Here, I share my perspective on the missing #longtermthinking tools for #processsafety. It captures my father's #PTSD after surviving the #piperalpha disaster. 👉dr-marc-reid.com/podcast/day-279

People. They’re what make every experience worthwhile. Deep thanks Graeme Leslie French (pictured) and Paul Pinkerton for making Marc’s visit to EMEC possible. From #PiperAlpha to Marc’s broader Domino Fallacy framework, the conversations were VERY productive!

Dad survived the disaster but I’m not sure if he ever really made it out alive. If only we could have seen the arrow of time as it rippled through Aberdeen’s rib cage… #XpoNorth
