We just received $125.4M from U.S. Department of Transportation to help build a brand new Washington Bridge. We're grateful to President Donald J. Trump, Secretary Pete Buttigieg and our top-notch Congressional Delegation for supporting this important investment in Rhode Island's infrastructure.

The Washington Bridge situation has been a headache for drivers and small businesses, but I am very pleased to announce that $125M in federal help is on the way to build a new bridge. Once again, our Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has come through for RIers in a big way.

We just secured $95.5M to help rebuild the Washington Bridge. This is the 2nd major federal grant RI received in the past month to support the project, bringing the grant total to $220.98M. Thank you President Donald J. Trump and our congressional delegation for helping us secure this crucial $$.
