🌍 At Bonn’s #SB62, climate finance must come as grants, not loans. This isn’t charity - it’s historical responsibility. Without predictable, debt-free public money, frontline communities can’t mitigate or adapt. Rich polluters must #payup #ClimateJustice #JustTransitionRising

Serious land degradation, in Kapale village in Sinampande village, Binga district. If this donga is attended to, very soon it will expand to a river.

Rd rehab has started on Byo-V/Falls rd. Without a working rail system, I hoping the Rds Engineers factored in the contact pressure from all the haulage trucks in the road design. Otherwise, it'll be like flushing money down the drain – the trucks'll wreck the road in no time.

Today, elephants ravaged riverine fields in Luunga Ward 1, Binga District, leaving behind devastation of crops. Human–wildlife conflict remains a grave threat to the food security of the Tonga people, whose livelihoods depend heavily on riverbank cultivation.

As the climate intensifies, Binga community is experiencing worsening water shortages due to depletion of underground water. This highlights the urgent need for a lasting solution, such as the gvt tapping into Lake Kariba to supply and distribute water to rural households.

One of the main causes of the decline in bee populations is the excessive use of pesticides in crop protection practices. To safeguard pollinators and promote sustainable farming, the agriculture sector must fully adopt agroecological approaches.
