Figured I’d just start with the fire tonight. So far no predatory noises…

A fox strolled through our yard in the daylight while we were walking the birds. Pretty sure that’s the sound I keep hearing (vs a cat of some kind). I see a lot of fencing in our future.

We’ve started hosting small new moon gatherings where our talented friend Maria serves cacao and sound healing for a new group of friends each time (on us) to introduce them to ceremony and practice holding space on our land. Tonight was the second time.

Jungle life just doesn’t translate to the average city dweller… For example: We sweep the yard every morning to avoid catching dengue fever.

The ducks and I like to preen together on our morning walks. They fluff and straighten their feathers and I comb out my hair with my fingers. Feels pretty right, ngl.

The duck laid an egg UNDER the chicken. I have so many questions.

This just cracks me up…our opportunistic duck lays eggs under the broody chicken every day now.

Some folks are naturally more precognitive (I don’t make the rules). When that’s you, the very “best” part is how you’ll spend years being told you’re crazy… …and then what you predicted will come true and everyone will act like it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
