@AndrewMurphie I often find myself laughing at such statements in Deleuze's work. What is he saying here really? Is he rhapsodizing or critiquing empiricism? Is he saying that, according to the empiricist, I can only free and wild 'in concept' or 'as a concept'?

@AndrewMurphie My reading of Kant & Hume &, in turn, of Deleuze's take on the two turns on the question: how is it that Kant & Hume, the founders of empiricism & critique in Western philosophy, engage in racial profiling ? Perhaps I ought to consider the mysticism of the concept of the 'Negro'.
