I'm at that point in grieving where I randomly start crying for no reason. I'm desperately trying to hide that because people I love are too worried to deal with their own grief. I've had little moments like 4 times today.

the house 2 doors down feeds the neighborhood strays. One chills out for a few hours a day on my porch. I have decided to call it Toast. He can't come inside (I'm allergic) but he is welcome anyway.

My mom is the most amazing Mom. She knows I'm worried. She is too, but she still takes the time to send me photos daily. Usually of the pupper Dad and I were gonna raise together. Now Mom and I are raising him.

My sister sent me a pic and now I'm crying... bittersweet tears... I miss you so much Dad.

I'm excited to teach myself English Paper Piecing. Hopefully I take to it well.

Tomorrow it is time to bury Dad. My heart broke when I placed his ashes in the urn. I'm reminded of the joy he always brought to me and the number of times he almost got me arrested. I will give Roscoe love for the both of us and take shots of whiskey for you.

Spent the day with Roscoe..... Mom joined us in the evening. Roscoe got a bath followed by snuggles...
