All these Ladli yojna cash distribution schemes promising 70-80 Rs/day to women voters seem to be a pilot for introducing 'Universal Basic Income' in India. In next 10 yrs, it will likely expand to all adults with 0 income. The onus to fund it will be on ~2% direct tax payers.
