Yesterday my line manager mansplained to me the importance of taking time out from work to relax, while simultaneously refusing to engage with the root cause of my stress: the uni’s plans to make 8 out of 13 people in my team redundant. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And he did all this while refusing to meet my eye (as much as an be done via a laptop camera). Top management skills. Yes, I’m still cross about the fact that I had to take time out of other pressing work for that pointless and insulting conversation.
