A proud moment for one of our volunteer helms Tuesday as Dave and partner Debs attended a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in recognition for his services to the community with the RNLI. With almost 28 years as a volunteer it was a worthy recognition. 👑

With the warm weather continuing along with the northerly off shore winds, please avoid using inflatables at the beach. Not all magic inflatable unicorns can make it back without our help! 🦄 If you see anyone in difficulty, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. RNLI

Poole RNLI volunteer, Kitty Norman, has tonight (4 June) qualified as a helm on the Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat. Joining Poole Lifeboat Station in 2017, Kitty has undertaken 123 service calls, aided 110 people and helped save 6 lives. Well done Kitty!

To commemorate D Day 80, a flotilla of of commercial vessels accompanied the Brittany Ferries ship Barfleur as she arrived at the Port of Poole . Bournemouth Echo

Both Poole lifeboats, RNLI Swanage, Dorset Marine Policing Team along with other vessels yesterday escorted the Barfleur in as part of the D-Day flotilla in Poole Harbour. RNLI
