BlackRoots Alliance Chicago Teachers Union Interesting. Why do you want to take education away from black children? When CTU shut Chicago's kids out of school for over one year, 100K CPS students disengaged completely from school and most were black and brown kids. The harm that CTU has done to black kids is devastating.
"Too many CTU members are attacked and pushed out if they express different views from our leadership." Is this why we haven't heard from the 1/4 of union members who opposed the illegal strike? This could have easily been Chicago had Chicago Teachers Union gotten its way. My heart goes out to Flint kids and their parents. This is a travesty. First Flint water--now schools! Listen to the science and keep schools open! @chicagosmayor Pedro Martinez Flint Schools
How many of these parents are opting out of CPS - Chicago Public Schools due to Chicago Teachers Union's non-mainstream policies, frequent strikes, and incessant and illogical pushes for remote learning?
How undemocratic is Chicago Teachers Union? I think we're all beginning to understand why the public never hears from these dissenters...
