Many of my more leftist friends (and frenemies) have pushed me on whether Abundance has “a theory of power.” I often say it does — but they’re not going to like it. And that’s in part because its theory of power is liberal rather than populist.

3 points here: 1) Violent attacks on federal agents are wrong. 2) When serving a POTUS who pardoned people who violently attacked federal agents, righteous claims of "zero tolerance" are unearned. 3) Newsom, who I often criticize, explicitly spoke out against violence.

I'm sorry, but it's pretty hard to take the conservative outrage over this Terry Moran post seriously when reporters & hosts on Fox, Newsmax, OANN, etc. constantly say wildly partisan things—and people have just kind of accepted they’re held to a lower standard.

The protests are mostly Latino protesters arguing with mostly Latino law enforcement officers as they speak to each other in English. One camp assimilated to the culture of white progressives, the other into middle America Assimilation is real. There will be no “reconquista”.

A huge reason why the Dem Party’s approval rating is so low is because a small, extreme faction of the party has spent the last decade denigrating their colleagues, pushing the party at large to enable positions that the rest of the country hates as a vain form of appeasement.
