Over 60-years-ago, JFK signed into law Public Law #87-726 which forever designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day to honor all Federal, State and Municipal Police Officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. On this day and everyday, we give thanks to our officers.

Per Joe Biden: “The answer is not to abandon the streets or choose between safety and equal justice. We all should agree: It’s not to defund the police. It’s to FUND the police. FUND them with the resources, training they need to protect our communities and themselves.”

Recently we hosted a retiree ceremony to thank and congratulate our colleagues that have retired. Covid paused our annual event so retirees from 2019 to present were honored. Thank you all for all you have done for our union and department.
