I've only seen two PTA films - I know, I know, I need to prioritise some more - and based on them I have no idea what to expect with One Battle After Another (which I should be seeing today if all goes to plan) 😂

Tomorrow my 31 Days of Horror begins and I feel so unprepared with how work and life has been lately. Looking forward to lots of horror of course, but a movie every day feels more of a challenge this year. But I've been doing it since 2019 and I really do love it so much.

Day 6 of my #31daysofhorror gave me my favourite film so far this month - Crabs! I've been so stressed lately I needed to go with a comedy today & I had such a good time with this! Likeable characters, made me laugh out loud, had so much charm (& a cute guy) - I recommend!

On a strict budget right now (I thought the horror of the month would be the movies I'm watching but turns out it's vet bills as well), but I decided to treat myself to a book. Heard good things about this and I was instantly sold on riding giant lizards (& the beautiful cover!)

Today I watched Real Life - my first Albert Brooks film! Really enjoyed it and found him fascinating. Modern Romance has been on my watchlist for ages and now it gets high priority because I must watch all his films now.

My Cooper is doing well after a procedure on Tuesday. Has to wear a collar as he has some stitches and I'm surprised (and glad) that he doesn't seem at all bothered by it.

Exciting mail day - my next Albert Brooks film! And since I was ordering from Indicator I had to get their recent Al Pacino release of course!

Hanging out with these guys, doing a bit of reading before I sleep. Such a nice way to end a day 🥰

One of my cats will soon be a tripod cat. Confirmed cancer diagnosis, he's now booked in for surgery at the beginning of November. It's been a full on October this year. Less time for movies than I expected.

Ended the week with the biggest disappointment of the year, which was very unexpected as so many people love it - and I loved Barbarian!

Barely any time for baseball this year, but have turned on the World Series today (sooo happy Disney+ added live baseball here this year) and it's great to be back watching. Going for the Blue Jays ⚾

Took up the Amazon deal to get Crunchyroll at 75% off for a couple of months. Their subtitles are horrendous but luckily I found I could link the sub to my Crunchyroll account and watch through their app instead.

My work Christmas party was tonight, with a rock bands and music icons theme. So I went as Jon Bon Jovi circa late 1980s. I would love my hair to actually be like this!
