here's an example that's a little more drastic, correction of a potentiometer degraded to the point i would recommend replacement this failed pivot corrects back to a functioning and snapback-less pivot input on hardware thought previously to be almost fully worn out

rocket guide: pode resistors solder two 470k ohm resistors across the potentiometer poles as shown to greatly reduce PODE on degraded controllers fix worn out controllers with .50 worth of parts achieve variable pode reduction with two matching resistors between 300k-1.2m ohms

PODE Resistor Module Circuit Diagram Can be used inline w/capacitors Use one switch at a time with both switches on the same value (both switches 1 only, 2 only etc) 1= 1200K ohms 2= 800K ohms 3= 600K ohms 4= 500K ohms 5= 400K ohms 1 is the smallest amount of PODE correction

An official update -- We've started development on a totally new analog device for Melee: the Wavebox! Anticipating small-batch availability by late 2023. We will also be publishing open-source hardware files and documentation for Heartbeat Modules in the very near future!

An update: Wavebox prototype has officially been finished; first batch will be made over the next couple of months. Work has begun on production models and we will assess needed changes as testing progresses. First-line production start date ETA Q1 2024. Working name is ORCA.
