The whole story of the einstein "hat" tile (I prefer to call it the "tshirt") & the math behind tilings in general, brilliantly illustrated by @ChristiansenJen, one of my faves in the field of dataviz. Is it time for some Heesch number shirt designs? tinyurl.com/yjspp6vv

Are you in the UK or EU? I am partnering with Tarquin Publications on certain products which can be fulfilled closer to you and not shipped overseas like this poster of the 92 Johnson solids: tinyurl.com/3txsaeyt

The hyperdiamond is the 6th Platonic solid, existing in the 4th dimension only. Seriously, it doesn't exist in any other dimension... NONE. Is it truly an exclusive object. But it can be yours with our holographic sticker tinyurl.com/54a4aad5 #hyperdiamond

The math art exhibit at #JMM2024 is exquisite! My fave is the installation by Polyplane.org of hanging polyhedra, plotting them by number of edges, vertices and faces on a x-y-z axis in space. It's a lifesize 3D scatterplot, essentially, sponsored by SeattleMathMuseum

It's a geometry lover's dream! Polyhedra, primes, aperiodic monotile textiles, 4-dimensional 120-cells made of balloons, toroidal hypercube pop-up books, interactive fractals and hyperbolic embroidery at the #JMM2024 math art exhibit.

The #jmm2024 conference wasn’t just numbers. I picked up this 60-sided die of letters from Robert Fathauer’s booth, a hive of dice-rolling activity.

Marjorie Rice, everyday hero to mathematicians. Great talk by Doris Schattschneider at #jmm2024 about the non math educated woman who discovered 4 new pentagonal tilings in the mid-70s and how she did it. Inspiration for my book!

Polytopes, puzzles and an unsolved question! A delightful and visually beautiful talk by Satyan Devadoss Satyan Devadoss at #jmm2024 who was also an actor in the Math Variety Show the night before hosted by Matt Parker

DeepAi completely failed when I asked it to tell me the Johnson solid with the lowest surface area to volume ratio. It gave me 2 objects which were an Archimedean and a Catalan solid and both were wrong anyway. I corrected it and it backpedaled. LOL!

This is the post where I tell you that my Kickstarter pre-launch is up! It only took about a year, but my project will soon be ready for your eyes (and ears). kickstarter.com/projects/geome…

My Kickstarter is now live! Get in the math and design zone with this deck of 117 geometry cards I designed. This kind of deck has never been done before and I'm excited to share it with you! Plus, there’s a funny video. tinyurl.com/mr2ss8pw

Woo-hoo! My Kickstarter is 8.03% funded, off to a good start. This sticker sheet is one of the pledge rewards, designed specifically for my campaign. kickstarter.com/projects/geome…

I couldn't believe that there wasn't an informational card deck for the Platonic solids and other unique polyhedra that we've known about for hundreds of years. So I created one! kickstarter.com/projects/geome…

June 28: Happy Perfect Number Day! 28 is a perfect number because it’s equal to the sum of its divisors: (1+2+4+7+14). And it’s a perfect day to pledge my Perfect Polyhedra card deck on Kickstarter! tinyurl.com/mr2ss8pw
