I’m currently writing a new commission for youth big band. It’s a real challenge making ideas work for the ranges and musical levels in a way that will be super fun for them to play - but I’m having a fantastic time! Can’t wait to tell you more and hear the premiere in 2024🙏

I always find the final tweaks of a new composition never ending, having to constantly remind myself that music is never ‘completed’. Every piece continues to develop over a lifetime, each revision, recording or performance is a snapshot of a particular time!
