The entire premise of the piece is wrong. Saying that China satisfies the definition of "foreign hostile force" as 賴清德Lai Ching-te did does NOT make a subtle move toward independence. The law is clear and it includes groups. The Nat'l Security Act also does not call China foreign. 1/
