My email inbox has several messages from supermarkets about rationing to three of any one product per visit. It looks like I am going to get fit if this applies to individual frozen peas.

Given the uncertainty surrounding British Airways' #B747 fleet, I thought I'd mash up a #BA100 #retrojet tribute...Dilbert style (remember Dilbert?) #Queenoftheskies

The calculations I am doing today would be a lot simpler if the Flat Earth Society were factually correct. I am trying to normalise aircraft crash locations to account for terrain, obstacles and vegetation as well as the curvature of the Earth.

bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0… Every day is different in my work. I was asked to review all the documents to try to narrow down the search area. Listen to the story unfold.

It was fun writing this article. Aviation risk management involves so many agencies, not just the national aviation safety regulator.

I appear on lots of radio station to discuss aviation issues. Today was my most regular regional show appearance reflecting my time at Loughborough University. The BA 747 last flights was the subject. 1 hour 50 mins into the show. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0…

I have been struggling with a statistical problem in my plane crash PhD research. None of the theory text books helped. Tim Harford has the answer in his radio show just broadcast. Premature enumeration. Picking up his book from Waterstones first thing! bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…

For those alone without pets and feeling down then follow George George The Stourbridge Junction Station Cat on his daily adventures. With white socks to match the snow and with the trains painted orange at his station then today should be declared #CamouflageGeorgeDay as he will be difficult to spot!

It's #fullflapfriday and here is a Let 410 flying over my head as I work with the runway maintenance team. The repairs to the runway touchdown zone took place every morning whilst this was the only flight out and back. ADZ 2012

They said Covid killed the four engined aircraft. Today I have seen AN-12, B747-400F, B747-8F, RC135, C-130J, C-17, A400M, A380, A340 and an IL62 over London. Managed to miss the 146s. #FourEngineFriday The IL62 was the sole freighter. youtu.be/Gv13eeRh2-c

Happy birthday to the website dedicated to the quirks of British roads. An excellent anchor for ex-pats to remember "home" up there with Test Match Special and Mornington Crescent with the fabulous "Boring Talks" podcast bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0…

About to go live on the launch day of Talk TV to talk about the youtube influencer's deliberate plane crash. Great view from their office next to London Bridge station.

Thank you to everyone in the British Transport Police British Transport Police for the good work you did yesterday after I was assaulted with actual bodily harm. A person was arrested for ABH and possession of an offensive weapon. Can we improve your event documentation process together please?
