For all the #bikeNYC haters who’ll claim these were emergencies: Photo 1: An NYPD NEWS van blocking both the bike lane and the crosswalk — for a Starbucks coffee run. Photo 2: Two officers casually enjoying lunch.

This unregistered car was parked illegally in the No Stopping zone, blocking the bicycle lane. But it had an expired placard, so Chief of Transportation let them do that. #PlacardCorruption #CultureOfCorruption

Challenge: anybody at the NYPD NEWS take a #Propaganda photo without an illegally parked car. Impossible.

This car with illegally tinted windows was dangerously and illegally obstructing the fire hydrant. But it had a "Federal Law Enforcement" placard, so nobody is enforcing any laws here. #PlacardCorruption

This car was misusing a NYC Sanitation placard to park illegally on the sidewalk, leaving inadequate room for people with mobility devices to pass by. And Chief of Transportation was allowing the #PlacardCorruption, like usual. #CultureOfCorruption

This Department of Buildings car with an expired safety inspection was relying on its government license plates and paint job to get out of tickets. And, like always, it worked with Chief of Transportation. #CultureOfCorruption

Remember when people said that #PlacardCorruption wasn't really a big deal and voted for Eric Adams? And then the whole administration was a dysfunctional mess because it was mired in a #CultureOfCorruption? Maybe we can learn from our mistakes, NYC?

One of our contributors saw the FDNY writing tickets to vehicles parked illegally around their firehouse. The only tickets that they wrote were for the cars that didn't have a FDNY UFA placard, though. No tickets for their own cars in No Standing zones and blocking hydrants.
