You could drag me through hell if it meant I could hold your hand

I've been dragging my heels in attempts to leave tracks hoping that some day soon I could follow them back

Wow I think I'm back after being gone for months?????

(Saying this here because my personal account is full of unconcerned people that see me as attention seeking and unstable enough as it is)

But today is world mental health day, and I just want to make sure all of you know how important it is to take care of yourself and others

I went a really long time without caring what I did or what happened to me, and that led to a lot of negativity in my life

I was in a really difficult relationship and struggled to try and "fix" the person. Update: you can't fix people.

All you can do is try to help them and make them see how you feel and that you want what's best for them

But, if in the end it makes you feel worse, if it makes you feel guilty, if it hurts you more than it helps them, it's okay to leave.

It is okay to do things for yourself. It is okay to reach out to others for help. It is okay to be hurting. It is okay not to be okay.

But it's NOT okay to be complacent. You are the only one who will always be there for you. Make an effort to make things better for yourself

There are so many resources available to you that are more than willing and able to help you get the help that you may need.

Each and every one of you are so important in this world, and no one should be able to tell you or make you feel like that isn't true.

PLEASE be nice to each other.

Even more importantly, PLEASE be nice to yourself. I know it isn't always easy, but it's always necessary.

I sincerely hope that each and every one of you had a great day. Although it can be difficult, try to always keep your head up.

It's so much easier to be negative when things get rough, but trying to be positive really can make things so much better.

I'm so proud of each and every one of you for still being here today because we all know that for some it doesn't always turn out that way.

Get the help that you need, it's out there waiting for you. Help your friends. Help the people you don't like. We all need someone.
