Can we please stop acting like this election ISN’T personal? Who you vote for says SO much about how much you respect black lives, the lgbtq+ community, climate change, women’s rights, poc in general. HOW IS THAT NOT PERSONAL?

VICTORY: Colorado voters just defeated Proposition 115, rejecting the ballot measure that would ban abortion later in pregnancy. Safe, compassionate abortion access for all is here to stay in Colorado.

We know this is a life or death election for many of our communities. However, the results will be the same if you stay up all night or not. It’s okay to go to bed now.

Congratulations Rep. Katie Porter Archived Handle for winning your reelection to the House! Katie is a fighter for working people, a mother, and an inspiration for young women everywhere who want to run for office! We can't wait for a second term with Congresswoman Porter and her whiteboard.

I said this earlier but to repeat: A big reason Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are still not done counting mail-in ballots is because the GOP legislatures in all of those states did not pass a law this year to start processing ballots well before Election Day, like others

Waiting in line for hours. Facing voter intimidation. Figuring out how to vote safely. Americans made their voices heard in record-shattering numbers despite a coordinated effort from Trump and the Republican party to prevent just that. We owe it to them to #CountEveryVote.

I don’t believe any single politician has the ability to change things- I believe the people do. Yesterday, we did through voting. Today, tomorrow, and ever more, we will through organizing and accountability. Let’s go.

Pennsylvania has “millions” of early votes to count. This is more than the 1.4 million some analysts were assuming. Early votes were overwhelming cast by Democrats.

My fellow white women, we need to have a serious conversation. We are not just complicit in white supremacy, we actively perpetuate it. Even if you didn’t vote for trump, we need to hold each other accountable for putting politeness over dignity when talking with those who did.

It's been a dark four years. We’re fighting a pandemic and an economic crisis. It would have been easy to just throw up our hands and give up. Instead, a record number of Americans voted in this election—and you’d better believe we’re going to make sure their voices are heard.

The fight is not over, but this is a HUGE step in the right direction for America. THANK YOU to all of the organizers out there who made this happen, and of course, to the voters!! 💙💙
