Pitcher of the day 2/5/2025: Joey Wentz 2025 Prediction: Bullpen Notes: Good stint with Pittsburgh at the end of the season, hopefully he can roll that success into 2025. Stuff is pretty much average, poor BB/9 but his heat maps look decent.

Pitcher of the Day 2/7/2025: Lance Lynn 2025 Predictions: ? Notes: Being linked to some teams as a potential closer? That would be an interesting role for Lynn, would need to see his stuff tick up quite a bit, but it probably could with a jump to the pen.

Pitcher of the day 2/8/2025: Jaden Hill 2025 Prediction: Minors/bullpen Notes: Ok in short first stint. Good in AA in 2024. Fits the Rockies needs, hard sinker inducing a lot of ground balls. Could be better in 2025 as his xERA was 2 points lower than his actual era.

Pitcher of the day 2/10/2025: José Cisnero 2025 Prediction: Bullpen/retire/foreign Notes: Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a shot somewhere. Even at 35 velo was still good, stuff was all average to above average, and he showcased strikout stuff. BBs have always been an issue

Pitcher of the day 2/11/2025: Jason Adam 2025 Prediction: Setup Notes: Potential to be an all star, has been really good since 2021 where his BB/9 dropped around 3. Heatmaps look good, sweeper could be located a bit better which shows in RV. Otherwise expect another great year.

Pitcher of the day 2/12/2025: Jacob deGrom 2025 Prediction: Ace Notes: Elite stuff, elite control. Potential HOF if he can stay somewhat injury free the next few years. Even at 36, his stuff was still very good in his short showing. Really want to see a resurgence in 2025.

Pitcher of the day 2/15/2025: Colin Holderman 2025 Prediction: Setup Notes: Pretty underrated, top arm in PIT pen. Three pitches at the same vert covering almost 2.5 ft of horizontal makes for a really interesting plot. I think Holderman should have another solid year in 2025.

Pitcher of the day 2/16/2025: Mike Soroka 2025 Prediction: Starter Notes: Moved to pen after really bad first few starts, and was incredible. 2.75 ERA and almost 40% K rate. Stuff jumped up, but WAS might start him. I think his 2 pitch mix of 4 seam slider is better from the pen

Pitcher of the day 2/18/2025: Emilio Pagán 2025 Prediction: Bullpen Notes: Nothing really that noteworthy, had an ok year last year, and outside of 2019 and 2023, the rest of his career has been insanely consistent posting a mid 4 era and hovering just below 100 era+.

Pitcher of the day 2/24/2025: Quinn Priester 2025 Prediction: Starter/minors Notes: Nothing exceptional from Priester, pretty standard back end rotation guy - weak contact, low K rates. Could see some time with a thin Red Sox rotation before they get back to full strength

Pitcher of the day 2/25/2025: Dean Kremer 2025 Prediction: Starter Notes: Similar to yesterday, nothing special. Decent 4SM CT 1-2 punch, other stuff is meh but keeps hitters off balance. Could tinker with bringing back his sweeper to attack righties, graded out well in '23.

Pitcher of the day 2/26/2025: Luke Weaver 2025 Prediction: Setup Notes: Great 2024, rose to stardom in playoff run. Surprisingly low stuff+ numbers, not that they aren't good but with his performance I expected a bit better. Very good at inducing chase and whiff.

Pitcher of the day 3/3/2025: Yusei Kikuchi 2025 Prediction: Starter Notes: Pretty stock, decent stuff. Fastball has gotten better as he's gotten older. Should be a decent starter again, not quite an ace, but he flashed ace stuff with new usage following Astros trade in 2024.

Pitcher of the day 3/10/2025: Yoshinobu Yamamoto 2025 Prediction: Frontline starter Notes: Surprisingly low stuff numbers, but his ability to locate and mix with 6 pitches keeps his numbers in a good spot. Great, albeit injury shortened rookie year, should be great in 2025.

Pitcher of the day 3/12/2025: Cole Sulser 2025 Prediction: Bullpen/minors Notes: Great, short stint with Rays in '24, only 3 hits no runs in 11 innings. Problem has always been walks, and that has carried into this spring with 4 BB's in 3 innings. Likely won't make opening day.

Pitcher of the day 4/14/2025: Bailey Horn 2025 Role: Minors Notes: Good enough stuff, just finds the heart of the plate too much. If he could locate better, would likely be able to find a role somewhere, but as of right now (7.11 ERA in AAA, 8BB in 6.1 INN) likely will stay

Pitcher of the day 4/26/2025: Tom Cosgrove Current Role: AAA Notes: Great 2023, bad 2024. Usage changed, more SNK than 4SM, likely because he faced more lefties last year. Lost ~2mph and metrics changed, but stuff still grades well. If he can gain 1-2 mph, could produce again.

Pitcher of the day 4/28/2025: Nick Nastrini 2025 Role: AAA Notes: Issue is clear for Nastrini, more BB than IP in 2024, currently a 6.4 BB/9 in AAA. Stuff is ok, not great but as a back end starter for a bad team like the White Sox he could be ok if he can work out his control.

Pitcher of the day 5/5/2025: Cole Irvin 2025 Role: Starter (KBO) Notes: Now in Korea, Irvin has had the career you'd expect from a soft-tossing lefty, low k/9 and BB/9, but now at 31 he finds himself in Korea. Potentially if he could gain a tick or two he could make a comeback.

Pitcher of the day 5/12/2025: Tyler Kinley 2025 Role: Bullpen Notes: Poor numbers last few years since his elite 2022. Getting older could account for some of that, lost a tick since then, but most can be accounted to worsened slider shape, and -4 mph. Hopefully can regain shape
