The recent IZA turmoil has triggered many conversations about our profession: about processes, culture, mental health... We need to speak more, truly listen and support real changes. Economists know very well that institutions matter!

Under the banner “We do it for each other”, Amsterdam took another step to improve liveability today, with 80% of its streets now 30 km/h. The move is expected to reduce the frequency and severity of crashes by up to a third, half traffic noise, and improve travel times for all.
