Here's my conversation with Dave Plummer (Dave W Plummer), programmer, former Microsoft engineer (Windows 95, NT, XP), creator of Task Manager, author of two books on autism, and host of the much-loved Dave's Garage YouTube channel. It's here on X in full and is up everywhere else

How much #bandwidth can be expected from the ManT1S? T1S is 10Mbit/s, the bandwidth is shared by devices on the wire. Some quick tests show about 1.7 Mbps when loading a static file served from a MicroPython web server over a ManT1S-Bridge! crowdsupply.com/silicognition/… #embedded #dev

I stand w/ DHH. I freely admit I'm way on the outside of the "controversy" surrounding Ruby on Rails. But, I feel I know enough about him through various podcasts (Lex Fridman suggested) and media that he's a solid family man w/ good business ethics.

PLEASE LISTEN. Lex has been killing it lately with his insight and prescient guest selections. Pavel Durov is a persecuted modern day tech hero for free speech with the strength very few have these days and playing a huge role in preserving freedom for all humanity (not hyperbole)

Besides being the perfect use of this meme. I noticed a lot of comments blaming the framework. Sometimes it is just the shape of the problem. Derivation is less obvious than synchronization, but that doesn't mean synchronization shouldn't exist. We all should derive more.

I don't trust any "expert" in the AI field who, when asked "What is consciousness?", can't immediately give a succinct, cogent answer tailored to the current audience.

Life is too short to worry about little things. Have fun. Fall in love. Regret nothing, and don't let people bring you down. Study, think, create, and grow. Teach yourself and teach others.

David Brady Jr. I guess it depends on your objective. If you want a workable theory of the state that could be implemented, & would persuade people not already persuaded, I can help. If you want a bizarre, UNpersuasive theory to talk about in a little treehouse, Rothbard is the way to go!

This also conforms to a variance of the power-of-three: "in non-trivial designs, the design doesn't become optimal till the 3rd version"
