A human being should never call another human being “a dog.” A President of the United States should never refer to a fellow citizen in this way. It demeans and reduces the office and the person who holds it far more than it does the intended target.

I spoke w/ the owner of a small manufacturing company on Long Island (35 employees). The biggest market for his products is China. He learned China is imposing a 27% tariff on that class of products in retaliation for Trump’s tariffs. He may have to lay off 1/3 of his work force.
