Steve has been busy mulching the latest plantation of organic ARONIA berry bushes at his farm in Bantry - using wool. This natural (but science led) approach protects the plants from weeds and gives them a nitrogen boost during their first couple of years!

Taking a temporary break from farming in West Cork, Steve has been working in Sudan, advising Plan International on strategy to address the appalling famine. Steve actually began his aid work as a Doctor specialising in nutrition in Sudan during the Band Aid era 40 years ago.
