#100DaysofCode Day 49 βœ… learnt about the XOR operation and a little about bitwise πŸ‡ started falling down a rabbit hole of learning about exactly how bitwise operators work βœ…πŸ’ͺ pulled myself out and focused on what it does/how I can make it work for me instead - hard to do!

#100DaysOfCode Day 50 Away in Amsterdam for a few days, so playing with mimo! Useful going back through the fundamentals for a few days - just zipping through JavaScript basics, but might change the level… we’ll see how much joy I get from some easy wins! πŸ˜…βœ¨

#100DaysOfCode Day 52 was All. Code reading practice. βœ… practised #JS reading exercises by putting a prompt into #ChatGPT and turning it into my personal coding tutor! πŸ₯Έamazing until started giving me the same functions with different names and I was like heyy I know you πŸ˜‚

#100DaysOfCode Days 53 & 54 βœ… loads of #javascript recursive functions reading practice πŸŒͺ️ trying not to get lost in the vortex πŸ˜…

#100DaysOfCode Day 55 βœ… learnt about #javascript reduce(a,b) and first...rest... - honestly took me a while to get my head round reduce, but practised until it I got that thing where all the words start to look like strange little pictures and I got there

#100DaysOfCode Day 56 🧐 revising old #leetcode #javascript problems - looking back, making sure I still understand and thinking about how I could hone and improve

Phoebe Hames (@phoebe_hames) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#100DaysOfCode Day 57 Founders and Coders induction Q&A - such a thrill to meet some of the wonderful people I will be studying alongside for the next few months and also to get some of my 'no-such-thing-as-a-stupid-question' questions answered πŸ˜…

Phoebe Hames (@phoebe_hames) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#100DaysOfCode Day 58 βœ… cracking through some leetcode problems and came across unicode for the first time. The function changed a character from lower to upper case and vice versa and I was mindblown/slightly furious to find a way round an accidental caps lock πŸ˜…

#100DaysOfCode Day 59 βœ… got to grips with my #terminal !! It's a whole new world, truly πŸ˜‚ figured out how to add, adapt, move and delete files as well as a few sneaky little time-saving shortcuts ⏩

#100DaysOfCode Day 60 βœ… started learning about Markdown and best practices. Now meticulously updating all my Github repos so all ReadMe's are shiny and new and crucially, clear.

#100DaysOfCode Day 64 More colour palette picker: βœ…added ability to change individual colours for other random colours βœ…started work on making colours complementary - had some pretty ugly combos πŸ‘Ή βœ… bug 1 fixed (only gave 2 colours) 🫠but now CSS broken πŸ˜‚ - for tomorrow!

#100DaysOfCode Days 65 & 66 Spent these on #executeprogram code reviews - such a helpful tool/ reminder to ensure it’s all ACTUALLY going in πŸ€“πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ βœ… then looked back over #JS slice with negative arguments, concat, new and fill and flat/flatMap

Phoebe Hames (@phoebe_hames) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#100DaysOfCode Day 67 was frustrating. βœ… managed to fix bug in the colour picker #js (found in the shuffle function πŸ₯Έ) which was populating the div headers with all sorts of nonsense 🫠 but it is now only producing two colours Will go for fresh eyes in a few days! πŸ‘€πŸƒβœ¨

#100DaysOfCode Days 68 & 69 Changed gear to air out my brain and made a start on my single-page, no-libraries portfolio. Much cleaner in code and aesthetic than previous versions. 🫧🧹 Nice to be back swearing at #CSS rather than #JS for a change! πŸ˜‚
