I attended the vigil this afternoon for 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore. A baby caught in the crossfire of gang violence. This is heartbreaking and unacceptable. Gang violence and illegal guns are destroying lives, and it has to end.

I regularly hear from seniors and New Yorkers with disabilities that there simply aren’t enough ADA-accessible for-hire vehicles. That’s a real problem. I brought this directly to the TLC. Hear their response:

Many constituents have reached out about excessive floodlights and spotlights shining into their homes and windows. It’s a real quality-of-life issue that needs to be addressed. That’s why I introduced legislation on this, which was heard in Committee yesterday.

Proud to partner with NYC Department of Veterans' Services to bring one-on-one support to veterans and their families right here in our community. A DVS Care Coordinator will be at my district office tomorrow to help with benefits, housing, employment, mental health support, and more.
