But the Reserve Bank of Australia will treat the Australian public like fools by continuing to dismiss research that shows inflation is being fuelled by corporate profiteering.

Tomorrow's final Matildas group match is similar to Socceroos final group match in 2006. Heading in with 3 points, 3 goals & playing a team in red & white Hopefully "you're red, you're white, you're going home tonight" gets to ring out around AAMI Park #FIFAWWC #GoMatildas

Without a doubt tonight's CommBank Matildas clash against Canada, is the most important Australian Soccer match we have had in Melbourne since 97 against Iran... LFG! We're all behind you... #matildas

What a night! Took Miss 5 to her 1st Matildas match & it brought back memories of Dad taking me to my first match, Nov '97 at the G. I was nervous when we went up 2-0 tonight, but thankfully that was short lived. Post-game celebrations reminiscent of Stuggart in 06! #GoMatildas

This shot against the post almost guarantees that it will be world ranks 1 & 3, #USA vs #SWE facing off in a knockout match in Melbourne on Sunday and both countries on the opposite side of the draw to the Matildas! #AUS #FIFAWWC

I've barely watched any aleague this year but have tuned into #MVCvCCM. The refereeing and VAR does not make any sense. Player gets headbutted, not a red. But a red is given by VAR where the footage is inconclusive. Pack it in.

What a surprise... Ray pulls out 4,000 words to defend to his mate who failed at Asian Cup & now couldn't get his team to score against countries ranked 80 and 124 in the world. Absolutely pathetic you'd get the excuses out for that. NSW types like this are part of the problem

APL had already pencilled in Melbourne City to be in the Grand Final next weekend, not giving Western United any chance tonight of course.... #aleagueGF
