President T. Roosevelt in 1905 about his 2 Confederate Uncles: "Men and women, don’t you think I have the ancestral right to claim a proud kinship with those who showed their devotion to duty as they saw the duty, whether they wore the gray or whether they wore the blue?”

Grok has apologized, folks. Someone, probably a Marxist academic or "public historian" put a fake report from General Forrest in Grok's knowledge database and after insisting it was in the Official Reports, Grok finally acknowledges that actually the report doesn't exist.

Today Washington & Lee President Will Dudley said he is leaving ten years after misfit Dylan Roof killed 9 black worshippers at a Charleston church. Since then Confederate iconography, and the Southern tradition, have been under assault. Dudley failed to defend W & L namesakes.

Lincoln rushed to war in 1861 leaving 750,000 Americans dead after four years of fighting. There was no immediate threat. Trump has rushed to war without an urgent need to protect US interests. How many will die in Trump's war?
