If you’re in #Walthamstow & thinking about lunch, I just had the quiche at @frothandrind St Mary's Walthamstow & highly recommend it. Great to have Froth & Rind in Walthamstow’s oldest building, with seating both inside & outside.

Is the US now the book-banning capital of the world? Amanda Gorman’s inauguration poem is banned by Florida school.“They ban my book..fail to specify what parts..they object to, refuse to read any reviews & offer no alternatives..We must fight back.” Yes. thetimes.co.uk/article/094d00…

Christian means “Christ-like.” He commanded us not to judge others. He blessed the meek and the merciful. He said we will be known for love. He called religious bigots a “brood of vipers.” He welcomed the excluded and marginalized. There is nothing Christlike about this, Sean

We must never assume that someone who is gifted verbally and has theological knowledge is spiritually wise and mature.  Sometimes that leader is power hungry and self-serving, working the system and the people in it to feed him/herself.

In House of Lords I asked the Government minister about yesterday’s statement that migrant workers need to earn £38,700 to bring their families with them. This would preclude clergy families from around the Anglican Communion and other faith workers. hansard.parliament.uk/lords/2023-12-…

Three years ago today, I was given a stem cell transplant for leukaemia. I thank God for the amazing NHS, for those who cared for me, for the generosity of my donor, and for the work of #AnthonyNolan. They gave me my life back. Giving thanks today

The distressing news just keeps on coming: IDF has forced closure of our Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza and detained most of our staff. Just skeleton staff remains to tend to over one hundred seriously wounded patients. No running water and no electricity. Hardly even shocked now.

May God's light lead us away from the false kings of our world—known by the violent, manipulative way of Herod—to the true king found in the humble, non-coercive person of Jesus. #Epiphany
