Try googling "#WordPress org vs com" and you will find out what the confusion that people actually do have around that name is. Is it WP Engine being mistaken as WordPress or is it shockingly, unexpectedly, unpredictedly, astonishingly, wait for it, WordPress.com!

My non-WP husband: “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize how quickly it was escalating. I just didn’t think he’d do anything that would put the livelihoods of so many people who have spent thousands of hours supporting his project at risk.”

If I had a nickel for every time IT forgot to update their office's internal DNS after a site migration, I’d have about 300 nickels. Which doesn’t even cover the cost of troubleshooting their issues.

#WordPress fam, if we let an abusive, gaslighting megalomanic remain in a position of totally dominant power when we KNOW it is wrong, then not only are we enablers of abuse, but we are complicit in the pain and suffering of all of the future victims.

Remember when GoDaddy used to be "an existential threat"? I'll give you three guesses what changed after that. Oh look... in those tweets, is that WP Engine I see? It's a pattern peeps. wptavern.com/matt-mullenweg… #wpdrama #mattmullenweg #OpenSource #showmethemoney

Not just WP Engine, this is Matt Mullenweg's lawyers arguing that 40%+ of all websites are just relying on some dude's website vs. the open source project we all were led to believe we were building on. OSS version has forever been ".org", but nope. That's just Matt #WordPress

I'm going to need designers to stop setting image dimensions with fractional pixels (like 241.55px) in Figma and then complain when PNG exports have a "ghost" line of pixels.

I was excited to find a Local alternative in DevKinsta, to immediately be disappointed that I can not use symlink directories. Would be a great future feature. How are ppl routing their repos to their environments with devkinsta or other docker solutions?

Yup, its ok for WordPress.com to remove the ability to have plugins (a cornerstone that makes #WordPress what it is) in the free version, but then attacks WP Engine for removing post revision history as a default (that they will enable upon request on wpengine.com/support/platfo…).
