i know we are in election mode but when councillors are asked to approve a plan to improve the sea defences around Dawlish why do the Lid Dem's say that they would prefer to have designs with a LOWER SEA WALL than that needed to protect against the forecast sea level changes??

plus an off shore reef that would change the hydrodynamics hurting ecology? Experts advised that the only viable solution was the one proposed as all others had more averse effects. Plans approved despite Lib Dem attempts to delay them

Climate Change is an issue that concerns us all. With Teignbridge DC excellent record of action we were delighted to change LD proposals for proper action from 2030 to 2025 at today’s Council Meeting.
