18.9.23 Tawny Owl, near Trefalen Farm, S.Pembs. We were able to pull up alongside this fluffball, perched in roadside branches. Any closer and would have been socially awkward! Welsh Ornithological Society 🏴 Pembrokeshire Bird Group BTO Cymru #TawnyOwl
1st Winter Northern Wheatear, Broadhaven South car park yesterday. Seeing Wheatears breeding here all summer, it was quite obvious that this little one was not from around these parts. Love seeing Wheatears, but migrant ones are always more exciting! Pembrokeshire Bird Group Welsh Ornithological Society 🏴

Freshwater East Secret Marsh this arvo: 2 singing Cetti's, 3 calling Water Rail, small numbers of alder feeding Siskin. Reed Bunting. Meadowsweet still in flower. Boardwalk further on now overgrown & starting to go to ruin. Unfinished "hide" also. 😐 Pembrokeshire Bird Group Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
