Well, I had all but given up on a submission to the Consortium on the Revolutionary Era, 1750-1850 before today's deadline. I just could not think of a relevant topic. But as I resigned myself to oblivion, I actually came upon a compelling proposal. With 2.5 hours to spare, my hat is in the ring. Wish me luck!
