Late to the party but as someone who has seen the movies mainly as background noise, Monarch is terrific. Fast moving, well cast, and a fun mix of conspiracies with kaiju.

I try not to shit talk much here and I don’t want to yum anyone’s yuck but on finishing Wolfen my main lesson is, a central part of Stephen Kings success is that turning a dumb premise into something a reader will go along with for the sake of entertainment isn’t easy!

Republicans want you to focus on what .8 percent of the population is doing and other culture war trivia because the actual political policies that they have are not only unpopular but hideously destructive to the nation in the long run.

Impossible not to wish cast what might have been if this launched an oddball but quality Halloween themed anthology stories for the franchise. There are several Michael stories I enjoy after this one but none of them really successfully pull off anything new.
