Scores are in from the clubs trip to Spice Lounge in Chatteris. A thread 🧵:

Atmosphere 2.9 Only us and another table so pretty quiet for a Thursday night but beers were flowing and piss taking between members more than made up for it. 1/N

Service 3.7 Bit standoffish at first but could have been down to the new dazzlings polos we had…nice touch when we got there we had our pints already poured for us!! 2/N

Menu 3.9 Had a vast selection of curries which most hadn’t heard of so needed pointing in the right direction which their staff duly obliged. 3/N

Taste 3.8 Lovely Mixed Kebab was the choice for all our starters (pot of mint sauce with is different but went well), lot of variety on the mains which was good for the people who like to try a bit of everyone’s. 4/N

Taste continued 3.8 Didn’t hear many complaints unless your a lamb lover as it was strips which was disappointing! Cheese Naan was a winner tho. 5/N

Presentation 3.7 Everything was presented fantastically and the right portion sizes to leave us room for pudding and we even had a sizzling curry which looked very tasty. 6/N

Value for money 3.3 Standard around the £40 mark, pretty reasonable considering most had desserts aswell #punky 7/N

Beer 3.6 Bottled Cobra’s this time…nice and cold but for one member not cold enough as they needed a glass of water as their Madras had a kick 🌶8/N

Overall 3.6 One of the better curry clubs…chauffeured by the curry bus, cold beer, great company, delicious curries what more could you ask for! Spice lounge we shall return! 9/9

Intimate affair at The Spice Affair in Peterborough. Polo’s slightly out of place in what is a beautiful restaurant, but looking forward to good Curry.
