Round 6 High Individuals, 11/20/24: For the 2nd time this season four 300s were fired in the same week-Congrats to Maggie Palfrey & Dean Trew on their 2nd, Jack Ogoreuc on his 3rd & Lily Bell on her 4th 300 in 6 weeks. Larry Pavalko of Allegheny was the high senior with 298.

Round 7 Results, 12/11/24: Oil City (7-0) defeated CSC (2-5) 1478-1432, DMSC (6-1) beat Murrysville (4-3) 1472-1462, Frazier-Simplex (7-0) knocked off Green Valley #2 (1-6) 1468-1391, Allegheny (4-3) beat Clymer (2-5) 1463-1376, & Carrick (1-6) outshot Irwin (1-6) 1346-1252.

Round 7 High Individuals, 12/11/24: Maggie Palfrey & Jack Ogoreuc were high individuals & high juniors with 300s. Palfrey fired a 300-29x iron sights- The league record 300-30x with irons was fired by Stefan Thynell of Waynesburg in 1980. Ray Harvey was high senior with 299.

Round 8 Results, 12/18/24: There is now a 3-way tie for 1st place in the league after Murrysville (5-3) upset Frazier-Simplex (7-1) 1478-1477 & Dormont-Mt. Leb (7-1) defeated Oil City (7-1) 1474-1458. Murrysville is now tied with Allegheny (5-3) for the 4th & final playoff spot.

Round 8 Results, 12/18/24: (cont’d) Allegheny Rifles (5-3) beat Carrick Sportsmen’s (1-7) 1462-1309, Green Valley #2 (2-6) edged past the Clymer Rifle Team (2-6) 1403-1395, and Clairton Sportsmen’s (3-5) outshot Irwin Sportsmen’s (1-7) 1393-1256.

Round 8 High Individuals, 12/18/24: Emily Valenta was high individual, high junior and high woman with 299, leading Murrysville to a one point upset over Frazier-Simplex, 1478-1477. John Husk, Tom Morley & Ray Harvey tied for high senior with 296s.
