Jim Kelly was a great broadcaster, wonderful person and huge supporter of all things Bearcats. His passion was always evident and showed his love of the program, university and city. Rest in peace, Jim. You will be greatly missed. ❤️🖤

Not only the most important, just the absolute best! The Kelly name is royalty in Clifton. And as great as Jim was for the university, his friendship was even more amazing. Jim is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever been around and I’m so lucky to have worked with him!

There are few people that have meant more to Bearcats Athletics than Jim Kelly Jr. He was a legend at UC and an even better human. He cared deeply about everyone. Incredibly fortunate to have called him a friend and colleague. I will miss him dearly. RIP Jim, I love you.

My love and appreciation for #Bearcats athletics came quickly from working with Jim Kelly and Chuck Machock. Two of the best people I’ll ever know. Jim and I shared 26 great seasons together along with laughs, meals, beers, and other adventures from coast to coast. RIP my friend.
