Be advised that due to the fire above Battle Creek and helicopters using water from the reservoir Kiwanis Park is temporarily closed. Avoid the area until crews have cleared the scene.

New Fire on G Mountain. Estimated over 50 acres and growing. Units from PGFD, Orem, American Fork, US Forest Service, Utah County Fire, and Lehi on scene. Avoid Battle Creek and Grove Creek canyon areas. Currently no evacuations at this time.

Evacuations are now being executed for some homes between 200 South and Grove Creek Drive and East of 1350 East.

Units are currently on scene of a structure fire in the area of 1400 North and 400 West. Avoid the area.

The #BattleCreek2Fire is still active, with smoke visible from the valley. Crews are on the ground, working both the perimeter and hotspots, utilizing aerial support as well. Please do not report continued smoke in the fire area
