Welcome our first PhD student – Shamarita Deb! Shamarita finished her master's thesis on quantum simulation using coupled photonic waveguides at TU Kaiserslautern. Shamarita started last week in our group and will be working on imaging vortices in unconventional superconductors.

Last week in the SuperC 2025 Summer workshop, our incoming postdoc Xiao Zhang joined the discussion on the pathways to increase the critical temperature of superconductors toward room temperature. He will start in July in our lab, working on MBE growth of superconductors.
