Thing about the "foul up 3" calculus is the standard averages are useless. A 3 when you're down 3 in the final seconds is not a 33% shot; it's roughly half that because the defense is selling out to stop it. Similarly, odds of an ORB off a missed FT go up when it's do-or-die.
