Just got one of the first copies of the Spanish translation of this essential resource for Biblical Counseling. I’m excited for this excellent book to be available to the Spanish speaking world. Dr. Jones thank for this awesome gift and for your work in BC. Lifeway Southern Seminary

This is a wise word. We need to be aware of the weaknesses and potential pitfalls of the current movement (whatever it is). The best of the Reformed Orthodox are historically informed, yet ultimately base their conclusions from the exegesis of Scripture.

It seems that somewhere or sometime in life, you begin to measure ministry in decades. And when you do, two things stick out as most important: 1) the faithfulness of God in Christ and 2) relationships along the journey - all guided by the sufficient Word. ...

I'm super excited to be presenting at ETS next week as part of this session on the Nicene Creed and biblical counseling with Jeremy Pierre and others. We're going to argue that the Nicene Creed provides a deeply coherent framework for interpreting human experience and behavior.

Here in Boston fueling up to present my paper at ETS this morning, “The Nicene Creed as Model of Theological Method for Biblical Application to Human Personhood.” We were made to believe in the triune God. Everything else about us becomes understandable in light of that design.

Deeply encouraged by the excellent theological reasoning of my colleague Dr. John Henderson & our PhD students Peter Martin & Laura-Lee Alford. We coordinated a session called Theological Method in Counseling Practice. May we see human life in proper relation to the life of God

I love this article from Dr. Colin McCulloch inaugurating his Substack account. He is thoughtful, biblical, and gracious, helpfully moving the conversation forward. I can't wait to see his future articles. substack.com/home/post/p-18…

Young men aspiring to pastoral ministry, grace is powerful enough to keep you from lapsing into sin your entire ministry. Don’t doubt it. It’s okay to be discouraged when you see good men lapse. But that doesn’t mean you will. Look to Jesus, the Author & Finisher of your faith.
