The hype that stablecoins will help secure the U.S. dollar’s dominance in global trade is nonsense. Stablecoins can just as easily be backed by any other fiat currency. A U.S. dollar stablecoin is only as stable as the U.S. dollar itself. That “stability” will soon give way!
